Y Happens

Today was moving day!! I checked into my apartment at 9 this morning and just finished getting everything all set up. I met 2 of my 3 roommates, but the one I'm sharing a room with hasn't moved in yet. If I had to pick one word to describe my room it would be...ORANGE! From the lamp to the hamper to the pillowcase to the mini whiteboard to the shoe rack to the...you get the point :) That's not even saying anything about my kitchen and bathroom things! My orange hangers are on the way from Maryland, so until they arrive I'm staying at the hotel with my awesome sister (edit by Ali). I decided to spoil myself (and my roommate) and buy a mini fridge for my room to keep stocked with Dr. Pepper and chips and sour cream! We did all my grocery shopping today, which should last about 2 years with the amount of soup and ramen noodles my mom bought. Once again the car was loaded to the brim on the trip back from Wal-Mart.







The apartments (The Branbury) are about a 35 minute walk to BYU campus, but luckily my schedule starts pretty late, and I don't have any classes on Fridays! The complex is nice, my building is right next to the basketball courts and Clubhouse (the pool, Racquetball, pool tables, movie room, free spa and haircuts, and barbecues), so I'll always stay social.
